Zsófia joined MSK Architects in 2020 as Senior Designer/ Project Lead.
She has 10 years of overseas and over 12 years of Australian professional experience in wide range of project types. In Europe she was the co-author of 20+ highly successful national and international design competitions with Sandor Duzs. These competitions ranged from small scale kiosk to large scale university hospital projects.
She was Project Designer and Design Lead on various Commercial, Education, and Residential Buildings (HOTEL VISEGRAD, ROSEHIP FARM - SZENTENDRE, KINDERGARTEN - REFORMEDCHURCH -SZENTENDRE)
During her 10 years in Australia Zsófia has mastered all local regulations and construction methodologies, and has been working as Project Designer/ ProjectLead. She participated in several education, aged care, health and residential projects. (UTS BUILDING 10 FASS & FOH, STELLA MARIS COLLEGE, EDENSORGARDENS AGED CARE FACILITY, CARINGBAH AMBULANCE STATION)
Zsófia has also been BIM Specialist and Production Director, having a deep understanding of the BIM workflow, setting up the delivery method to MSK's project. Setting up Company Standards, planning and implementing project specific BIM workflow strategy are also part of her expertise.
Zsofia has holistic view on architecture and believes in strong conceptual design, which is carried through the entire design cycle, where all phases of the design process support the initial concept including structure and details. She is committed to a simple, functional and sensitive approach to architectural design, which is coupled with good eye for detail.
Zsofia has been actively participating in opened design competitions of which many has been awarded.
Zsofia has a special interest in BIM, and having used ArchiCAD since the early years of her university studies made her a lead practitioner of BIM. During her career she learned and mastered BIM management roles as well, including supervising the workflow, collaborating with other stakeholders, and provided general company BIM support.
In Australia, Zsofia had learned and mastered all local regulations and construction methodologies, and she was working on several residential, education aged care, and projects. Being a passionate BIM user she also helped local architectural firms to set up their BIM strategies and to implement the latest best-practice approaches to BIM.
She joined MSK Architects in May 2022 bringing all values on board which made her so valuable during their professional relationship.
