Sandor joined MSK Architects in 2018, and over the years, from 2020 to 2024, he was the Design Director of the practice. As the 4th generation director, in January 2024 Sandor took over the leadership of the 60+ years old business.
Sandor has 30 years professional experience in wide range of project types. He contributed to large scale health care projects (SUNSHINE COAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL bid, VICTORIAN COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTRE), and he was the design lead of several large scale residential, infrastructure (North West Rail Link) and community projects (Glenwood Community HUB). He and his team also successfully delivered education projects, mixed use industrial and commercial projects, and designed sport facilities as well, including 30,000 seats football stadium.
With his submitted 20+ highly successful national and international design competition entries he is a passionate and experienced „competitor”, while his realized concepts were always lead through all design phases by him keeping their design consistency and freshness in every levels of detail.
In his spare time Sandor is also an architectural photographer, and passionate graphic-and industrial designer.
Sandor`s heritage experience is demonstrated through hotel and mix-used developments on World Heritage listed sites. His large scale infrastructure portfolio represented by several rail and road projects, viaducts and bridges. His health care experience includes wide range of design and coordination roles on some of the most significant hospital projects from concept design to construction coordination, and in his community projects he has proved clear understanding of, and sensitive approach to the social, environmental and functional aspects of the brief.
Through his projects Sandor`s professional approach demonstrates consistency in design language, along with the values of sustainability.
He is passionate about supporting his designs by high quality architectural illustrations both freehand and on computer, along with architectural photography techniques. He is also familiar with the latest BIM, CGI, and VR technologies.
